The Connection (September - May) Welcome to First Presbyterian Church Youth Ministries! We are excited that you chose to check us out on the web! We pray that you will check out some of the things we do during the week. On Sunday mornings at 9:15 am, we gather together for The Connection where we strive to connect with each other and with God. There are tons of things going on in our lives and around the world but how does God connect with us in our lives? During this time, we share about ourselves, we laugh together, pray together, study together, eat together, and Connect with God. Come join us for this time of Connection.

Youth Group
Sunday afternoon is an amazing time together for our youth! We start the afternoon together with some fun games, designed to build fellowship and faith. Then we spend some time worshipping and studying together. Are you looking for a time of fellowship, fun, worship, service, and growth (don't forget the great snacks)? If you are, join us for Ichthus every Sunday 6:30 to 8:00 pm at the church. Come see how worship is not just a Sunday morning thing, but an everyday, life thing.

The Top 13 Questions about God
This school year, we are diving into our faith and answering some of the questions that you have been pondering for a long time. Questions we will be discussing include: Who is God?, Will God forgive ANY and EVERY sin?, Who is the Holy Spirit?, How was the bible written?, and How can I know God is communicating with me?. We play games, have snacks, study the bible, and discuss questions together every Sunday from 6:30-8:00pm in the church youth room.

Cast of Characters by Max Lucado
3:00pm on Wednesdays, the High School youth are exploring God’s cast of characters, the people that make up scripture from Joseph’s family, Jacob stealing Esau’s birthrights at his mother’s request,  Joseph strutting around in his bright new coat that irritated his brothers (who became the namesake for the 12 tribes of Israel and verified members of the family tree of Jesus) so much that they sold him into slavery, Bathsheba the tabloid starlet, John the Baptists that had a diet similar to a grizzly bear, and Moses who murdered, just to name a few. The characters that make up God’s cast stumble, ignore God, and are full of intrigue, just like us. Join us for discussion, great food, and fun.

Jr. High Youth
Every Wednesday from 6:30-8:00pm at the church, we discuss life and various topics that are important in the life of Junior High students.
